This policy describes how Communications Assistant (“Naomi”), operated by David Kay (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles information when you use our voice assistant and optional SMS summary program.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

• Mobile phone numbers — numbers you provide for call routing or for the optional SMS summary program, including numbers recorded in our opt-in registry.
• Messaging consent records — whether you opted in (IN) or out (OUT), when consent was recorded, and related notes maintained by the operator.
• Call and session metadata — call timing, session identifiers, and participants in assisted calls.
• Voice audio — processed in real time during calls to operate the assistant (no separate long-term recording archive for hobbyist use).
• SMS content — brief post-call summary text sent to opted-in numbers only.

3. How we use information

• Connect phone calls to the Naomi voice assistant.
• Send optional post-call SMS summaries to numbers that have explicitly opted in.
• Honor opt-out requests and maintain compliance records.
• Monitor usage limits and prevent abuse.

We do not use your mobile number or messaging consent for advertising, affiliate marketing, or promotional campaigns.

4. Mobile information and messaging consent — non-sharing statement

We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We do not sell or buy lists of phone numbers. We do not permit affiliates or lead generators to use Naomi subscriber data for their own messaging programs.

5. Service providers (processors only)

We use contracted service providers solely to operate Naomi, including Twilio (telephony and SMS delivery) and Ultravox (real-time voice AI). These providers process data only on our instructions to deliver the service. They are not given your data for their own marketing or promotional use.

6. SMS opt-in, opt-out, and consent

SMS is sent only after affirmative, direct consent to David Kay / Naomi. Consent is not bundled with unrelated agreements. See our SMS opt-in page for the full workflow.

Opt out anytime by replying STOP to a message, asking the operator to set your registry status to OUT, or emailing [email protected].

7. Data retention

Opt-in registry entries are kept while the service is active or as needed for compliance. You may request deletion of your number by contacting us.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, restricted API credentials, and access controls appropriate for a personal/hobbyist deployment.

9. Children

Naomi is not directed to children under 13.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change when we do.
